With its idyllic surroundings and physical resources conducive for hiking, trekking, mountaineering, fishing, bird-watching, elephant rides and other exciting out-door activities, the campsite remains a favourite haunt of both young and old alike. Evangelistic youth camps have brought in a rich harvest for His kingdom.

QCI through its camp & retreat center in Mavanhalla, Ooty has been the venue for many a camps, seminary, retreats and Quite Time for Christians leaders. From its inception, QCI has been able to fulfill its goal of providing a center, where many Christians and Non-Christians have come to know the Lord. Also, the Center is being used for conducting the Intercessory Prayer Seminars, where a focused session is held on Intercessory prayer.

Through its focus on Discipleship and Leadership Training Programmes QCI has been able to conduct few Youth Camps, Discipleship training program, Pastors Conferences, Seminars, Institute of Intercessory Prayer & Christian Leaders United Prayer & Fellowship.

The Jungle Campsite at Quiet Corner continues to attract God’s people from every background. Several camps have been at this beautiful campsite including a Family Seminar recently conducted by one of the Church in the Nilgiris. Everyone who came has appreciated the beauty of the place but above all have testified to the presence of God which they could feel. This is a great testimony and we do thank God for it. All we had to begin with was just a “tree-top” hut and few acres of barren land.

The facilities are still limited and we are looking to the Lord for the needed funds for a Boy’s dormitory. We have completed the construction of the ground floor and the second floor construction is going on.

We wish to place on record the many organizations, groups and individuals who have made use of these facilities and have conducted their programmes at the Camp Center.
